Anne of Green Gables Four-Part Blu-ray Collector's Set
Great Customer Service, Film Picture Quality Outstanding, my order was very well protected & packed safely for it's long journey.
The only minus & I know it's done to help keep the price down, was the 4 discs in a very small box, hopefully the small disc holding clips do not wear away not much in place to hold & protect the 4 discs....
The transfer looks amazing. Only wanted the 1st 2 parts on Blu-Ray but Sullivan did not offer it with the exception for the part 1.
Finally a full screen, sharp picture.
I threw on my AOGG DVD set recently and realized it was finally time to upgrade. I played this on my 4K player and love the cleaned up widescreen format!!! I may have watched AOGG and Anne of Avonlea two weekends in a row. I'm in this for the first 2 Anne movies. They're pure magic. I'm also a big fan of Road to Avonlea and watch my RTA box set every year.
I never gelled with the serious continuity issues in the Continuing Story and I don't know what the heck happened with this fourth movie with the makes-zero-sense Anne back story. They're nice to have, but won't be in rotation. Sorry, Kevin Sullivan. I love you dearly and have so many Avonlea dreams, but the Continuing Story and this fourth film I won't retain the name of were so bad....I was in the depths of despair wondering what happened to the feeling and wonder that made the first 2 Anne movies and RTA so special.
