Love My New AOGG Blu-Ray

I threw on my AOGG DVD set recently and realized it was finally time to upgrade. I played this on my 4K player and love the cleaned up widescreen format!!! I may have watched AOGG and Anne of Avonlea two weekends in a row. I'm in this for the first 2 Anne movies. They're pure magic. I'm also a big fan of Road to Avonlea and watch my RTA box set every year.

I never gelled with the serious continuity issues in the Continuing Story and I don't know what the heck happened with this fourth movie with the makes-zero-sense Anne back story. They're nice to have, but won't be in rotation. Sorry, Kevin Sullivan. I love you dearly and have so many Avonlea dreams, but the Continuing Story and this fourth film I won't retain the name of were so bad....I was in the depths of despair wondering what happened to the feeling and wonder that made the first 2 Anne movies and RTA so special.

Four part blu ray

I love the first 2 movies. I have not watched the 3rd disc yet. Disc 4 is damaged and will not play the entire climax of the story. I am wating to watch the 3rd before I contact customer service. It is a significant amount of money to have damaged product.

I LOVE THESE MOVIES, EVEN AT ALMOST 75 Years OLD!

This Bul-ray Collector's set of Anne of Green Gables is THE BEST! I have the VHS version and two other DVD sets! This Blu-ray set is THE ONLY one that has ENGLISH SUBTITLES for the hearing impaired! They were worth EVERY CENT and more $$$! I thank you, sincerely, and will be regifting the regular DVD sets! They are both 'like new' condition! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Your customer service rep was speedy and knowledgeable to check and make sure this set had ENGLISH subtitles (SDH)! I'm a happy camper, for sure♥♥!!

A must have.

Love the clear, sharpness of the DVD. So much better than my older one. And, of course, I am very happy it has the closed captioning. I never tire of watching the Sullivan production. No one can touch it for it’s beautiful scenery and the wonderful actors and actresses who portrayed the characters. Megan Follows is Anne. No one can touch her. Also, I am in the process of reading the books again and realize how close the screenwriter kept to the first book Chapter by chapter. Hope to see the Avonlea series in digital Blue Ray In the future.
