Shop at Sullivan has commissioned a series of limited-edition watercolor prints that depict scenes from Anne of Green Gables, emulating the idyllic atmosphere of the series in an impressionist style. 

These pieces reflect an 'impression' of what the light, atmosphere, people, object, or landscape being depicted in each scene feels like, and while not heavy on detail, are evocative in feeling.

Product Details: 

  • "Marble Halls" depicts Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe in the most iconic scene from Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel (Anne of Avonlea) when Anne declares her love for Gilbert and they share their first kiss.
  • Each image in the series is limited to a run of 100 copies. This print is now in its second run of 100 and will have this indicated on the back of the print. They are numbered and signed by Canadian artist Aline Zoe and by Anne of Green Gables Director Kevin Sullivan
  • Texture: Printed on high-quality watercolor paper with a matte finish
  • Size: 12 x 18 inches

Beautiful print

Marble Halls arrived a couple weeks ago and I am very happy with the quality of the print. The print did come packaged in such a way that it was a little bent upon delivery. A day or two laid flat under a heavy book got it to a point where it could be placed in a frame without issue. Aside from the shipping, this is beautiful and I have gotten several compliments on it.

Love It!

It’s a lovely print! I found a nice frame to put it in and have it hanging in my bedroom. Anne of Avonlea was my favorite growing up so this is very special to me

A little disappointed

The purchase and shipping were good. To be honest. My disappointment is in a small detail I overlooked. If you look closely at the image I can’t make it not look like Anne has a mustache. Once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it. The painting is so lovely and I wish I could unsee it but I just can’t. I guess it’s partly my fault for not looking at the details. The quality of the print is also not quite what I was hoping for but I’m sure it would have looked perfectly lovely from afar in a frame.

We all breathed a sigh of relief when Anne finally tells Gilbert she loves him… and this picture beautifully captures the moment.

Well worth the wait!

It took a little bit of time for shipping to the US but so worth it. The quality and colors are stunning. I cannot wait to have this displayed in my office. It brings me back to being a teen and experiencing Anne of Green Gables for the first time. Will definitely be purchasing more to complete my collection.
