Synopsis:
Twelve-year-old Christopher is resentful when his mother marries the man responsible for the accident that killed his father. Christopher becomes withdrawn and turns to a wild black pony for comfort. His mother does not approve of this relationship until the horse saves Christopher's life. It was an act of devotion that inspires the family and brings them closer together in this award-winning film.
