This edition features closed captioning. Season six includes a courtesy copy of the Original Avonlea Soundtrack CD by John Welsman. This classic CD contains a number of memorable themes from the show, including the charming Original Series Theme Song, Gus Pike's lamenting theme, which is based on an Irish tune, and the ancient Welsh folk song All Through the Night, with vocals by Cedric Smith. The actor who played Alec King lent his singing voice to this song in season six's episode Thursday's Child, in which Cecily is sick with tuberculosis. This great CD is only available with the purchase of this product package from Shop At Sullivan.
