Synopsis:
In the Egyptian desert, Dr. Leonhardt (Rick Rossovich) uncovers an ancient map that will lead him to the treasure of King Rameses II. Legend has it that the ancient Pharaoh was separated from his soul when he died and this discovery will now give Rameses a peaceful afterlife. The action heats up when the highly respected Dr. Leonhardt is kidnapped by his evil rival, Dr. Bent (Stacy Keach), who is obsessed with being the first to find the treasure. Soon Dr. Leonhardt’s teenage son John (Brock Pierce) and his friend Karen arrive in Cairo. In an attempt to find Dr. Leonhardt, the two young Americans embark on an exotic adventure that takes them from the Pyramids of Giza, to the marketplace in Cairo, to a village on the Nile.
