I think I may be missing something.

I am glad to receive this email. You folks were on my To Do list. I have loved Anne of Green Gables ever since I read the book (the first time) as a young girl about 64 years ago. I was thrilled when the series when I first watched it when it aired on my PBS station in West Virginia. I thought it was wonderful and stayed true to the spirit of Anne and her family. I agreed with the critics' reviews and believed it deserved more awards than it actually won. Now to the issue. I received my DVDs as described above. I eagerly inserted into the machine and sat back with a box of tissues by my side. I was surprised, then horrified to discover that my boxed set did not contain the entire story of Anne from the original book and series. There was only Part 1 of Anne; there was no story of Anne as The Lady of Shalotte (?), no dead rat in the brandy sauce, no ni

Glitch in DVD - unable to watch

Very frustrated. I ordered this DVD set, and the first disc of Anne of Green Gables - the Continuing Story - has a glitch making the last scenes unable to be watched.

I’m glad to have this in my collection!

I wanted to replace my old copy of these wonderful films and I searched online to see if they were still available. Thank goodness they are and I’m super happy to know how there’s actually a lot of options to choose from! Thank you for continuing to have these available especially physical copies. I’ve just finished watching the films and am planning on watching the bonus features soon.

Also, I watched via my laptop. I used VLC and subtitles are available.
